I can’t believe People. Every year, I find the list more and more laughable. After last year’s horrible overlooking of Patrick Dempsey, I figured he’d have it in the bag this year. Here is a list of his accomplishments just in 2007-2008:
1. He opened a cancer center in honor of his mother, a 5 time Ovarian cancer survivor.
2. He created a new fragrance for men: Unscripted by Patrick Dempsey
3. He was in TWO hit movies (Enchanted and Made of Honor)
4. His TV show finally got good again, and his performances are astounding.
5. He is seen always taking care of his wife and children. The way he speaks about them is incredible, and he obviously dotes on his wife.
6. He has an INCREDIBLE BODY
7. He took the summer off to concentrate on his racing and spending time with his family.
8. His team (Hypersport) won a racing championship
9. He DOESN’T run around shirtless or try to get the attention of the media.
These are the things that are sexy to me. A loving, caring family man who truly tries to constantly push forward his career. It’s funny, for a magazine called People, you certainly never pay attention to what the People want. Anytime Patrick Dempsey is up for awards that the people can vote on, he wins. Hands down.
What does this man have to do? Does he need to run around shirtless non stop like Hugh Jackman? Does he need to look like a boy waiting to hit puberty like half the men on your “list”? Or does he need to fail to shower for 6 weeks such as Robert Pattinson.
Your list this year is highly disappointing. Highly. Once again, you have disappointed me and left me wondering who exactly runs this contest every year.

For me there’s lots of things, the main one is a guy’s smile and lips, like for example Jake Gyllenhaal he has AMAZING LIPS!! and his smile is too die for!! I’m a big fan of James McAvoy and Robert Pattinson. Both make me weak at the knees. Both have absolutely incredible speaking voices. Robert’s singing voice is to DIE for! It’s the 5 o’clock shadow look I think… on both of them… that really gets me. They’re so amazingly handsome. Although, Rpattz has McAvoy beaten in the looks department, McAvoy is a sensational guy all in all. Judging from interviews and things done by him. Rpattz does seem to be one of the “I’ve got a sexy accent. Everything I say is funny” sort of attitude. Whereas James McAvoy seems more real and upfront and honest about his personality.
