What’s the most fun you’ve had with a Madonna Soundtrack?

Was it that birthday party in eighth grade? Your first Madonna concert? A college Halloween party? What’s been a defining moment as a fan?

I have loved Madonna since I was like 8 years old, when I first found my mom’s copy of “the Immaculate Collection” so when I finally saw Madonna in concert in 2004 during her amazing re-invention tour, I was in tears when she came on the stage because I was so excited!

I splurged on floor level tickets to the Confessions tour and was right next to the end stage a the end of the catwalk. Madonna smiled at me during Jump, and I almost burst into tears (at age 35 – nice). I have bought floor tix again for this tour. God help me if she touches me. They’ll have to scrape me off the floor and i will have to laminate my hand if she touches it! LOL
Also a highlight: I spoke to her father on the phone to order wine for my wedding. He was awesome (And so was the Leelatage).

I had the black-stacked rubber bracelets, mini-skirt, tights… the whole outfit… in junior high. I even dressed up like her/Marilyn for Halloween the year Material Girl was released.

In the fifth grade (which was the year “The Immaculate Collection” came out) my best friend and I decide we were going to perform a show for the neighborhood of us dancing and singing to Madonna songs. We called ourselves the Madonna Doubles (I know, but I was 10). Every day after homework we would practice in my room and we had the choreography worked to the letter. We even printed up fliers with the image from the ad for the “Blonde Ambition” tour that was everywhere at the time. Well, we never got to put on the show for the whole ‘hood because a) we wanted to do it on our roof (!) or the front yard and our parents said no and b) the date we put on the fliers was Sept. 30 which doesn’t exist. So we ended up putting on a much smaller show in my backyard for just family and some friends. I was mad.

I have the one answer for that question. My best moment with the Queen of POP was when I saw her first time on a stage. It was in Prague in 2006 on her great Confessions Tour. It was amazing! I think I looked like The Beatles’ fan when she appeard. And you just can’t imagine what I felt when she looked at my eyes and smiled…

One time in the 8th grade (2 years ago) my four bffs and I started blasting her Like A Virgin album on our iPod speakers on our town green and we started 2 dance like crazy…pretty soon people had joined us and we had started a party!!!!!

Not by my choice, my mother hired a Madonna impersonator for my surprise 13th birthday party. I was mortified and could only think about how her dance moves didn’t match the real Madonna’s. I am 26 now and have been a fan since I was 5 years old.

Oh, one more. In third grade my mother surprised me with tickets to see the Blond Ambition at the Capital Center in Largo, MD. I went with my Aunt Wanda and we had a blast. I felt like I was the youngest person there. When we returned home my mother asked me how the show was and I told her my favorite part was during Like A Virgin (when she masturbates on the red velvet bed). I proceeded to demonstrate what she did on our living room couch and my mother said “You will NOT be going to see her again until you’re 18!” SHe was right, I didn’t see her again until 2001.
